Qinghua Lu

Dr. Qinghua Lu is a principal research scientist and leads the Responsible AI science team at CSIRO’s Data61. She is the winner of the 2023 Asia-Pacific Women in AI Trailblazer Award. Dr. Lu contributes to Australia’s AI Safety Standards and AI Safety Research Network, OECD.AI’s trustworthy AI metrics project, the International Working Group on AI Metrology, and the European Union’s General-Purpose AI Code of Practice. Her research interests include AI engineering, responsible/safe AI, and software architecture. She has published numerous papers in premier international journals and conferences and has coauthored several technical books.
