The Design Pane
This pane is used to display the design elements of one or more database applications. This allows developers to select a recently opened database and design element within that database to edit.

You'll notice that the top section of each database (shown in gray) is a header that contains the application name and file location. Below the database header are the construction elements associated with the application. All databases can include these design elements—Framesets, Pages, Forms, Views, Folders, Shared Code, Shared Resources, and Other (see Figure 3.3). We'll talk more about these elements in the next chapter.
