Conclusion
As can be seen from this example, the sync services offered in OS X 10.4 Tiger are very flexible and easy to integrate into an existing application. In addition to being able to synchronize with existing data, it is also possible to use the sync services to push a new data schema and sync that between applications and even different computers...including .Mac.
