Converting from DVRMS to MPEG Using DVRMSToolbox
After you have obtained and installed the DVRMSToolbox on your Media Center PC, go to the Start menu and choose Start>All Programs>DVRMSToolbox>DVRMStoMPEGGUI, as shown in Figure 1.

From the subsequent screen shown in Figure 2, double-click in the Input File area:

Next, you'll be presented with an Open file screen (as shown in Figure 3). Navigate to the location where Windows Media Center stores your recorded TV shows. By default, this should be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Recorded TV.
Now pick the .dvr-ms file representing the show that you want to convert and (when we are done) watch on your PSP.

Next, just as you did for specifying the Input File, double-click in the Output File area and then choose a location on your hard drive where you want to store the MPEG file. For example, I chose c:\temp\ancient.mpg, as depicted in Figure 4. Now, go ahead and click the Run button. Keep in mind that the larger the size of your original .dvrms file, the longer the conversion process will take. The amount of time the conversion process will take depends on various factors, including your CPU speed, amount of memory, size of the file being converted, etc. After some time, you should see a prompt asking you if you want to save your output log to a file. At this point, go ahead and click No. Now you have yourself an MPEG file, and it's time to put your MPEG file onto your PSP. For that we will use PSPWare.
