Not Quite XM Radio, But It’s Still Pretty Cool
Your Treo won’t be able to receive calls while you’re listening to Internet-based audio. Depending on your cell phone service, calls typically go straight into voicemail while you’re connected to the Net. Placing a call simply knocks you off your Net connection, which you can jump back onto when you like.
Although it’s definitely not the XM Radio experience, using Pocket Tunes to listen to Internet-based radio is pretty sweet, considering that you don’t have to pay monthly charges to get access to a huge collection of Internet radio stations (and assuming that you have an unlimited data plan). All you have to do is invest a little cash to buy the Pocket Tunes software and the hardware you’ll need.
