What About the Warranty?
For U.S. readers, the federal Magnuson-Moss warranty law applies. A vendor can't legally refuse to honor a warranty on the basis that you used third-party products unless the vendor can prove that the third-party product caused the damage leading to the warranty claim. The burden of proof is on the vendor.
