Time Estimate
Archie also compiles a high-level project plan (all durations are in calendar days):
1 |
Hardware procurement and BizTalk Server 2004 installation and configuration |
15 days |
2a |
Development of encryption component |
3 days |
2b |
Development and testing of orchestration, pipeline, and the ports required by the solution |
20 days |
3 |
Deployment of the solution |
7 days |
Assumptions:
- Tasks 1 and 2 will run at the same time.
- Task 2 can use the BizTalk Server 2004 software that comes with MSDN universal subscription. PinkAndBlue already has a MSDN subscription. Note that this software can be used only for development purposes.
So the project can be completed within 30 calendar days, as mandated by PinkAndBlue management.
