Summary
In this chapter, you booted for the first time into your new Red Hat Desktop computer system. You answered a few final configuration questions posed by Red Hat Desktop, and then you did the following:
Learned how to tell Red Hat Desktop to use a language other than English when communicating with you
Learned how to shut down or restart your system
Added a printer to your Red Hat Desktop system
Configured Red Hat Desktop to use your modem to dial your ISP for Internet service
Learned how to connect to and disconnect from your ISP if you are a dial-up user
Your system is now fully configured, and you are ready to begin using and learning about Linux. On to adventure!
