Niveus Denali Hi-Def Media Center 2005 Edition PC
Niveus Media, Inc. has just announced that they will be launching a breakaway Windows Media Center 2005 Edition PC called the Denali (see Figure 6). What sets this particular MCE machine apart from the rest of the crowd (besides its stereo amplifier-esque look) is its full support for both high definition television broadcasts and high definition 24-bit/192 KHz 8-channel audio, giving owners the best in hi-def entertainment.
In addition to being one of the segments' hi-def power hitters, the Denali sports all the latest bells and whistles of today's super computers:
17.5 (W) × 11.5 (D) × 6.25 (H) aluminum enclosure
Intel P4 3.2 GHz with hyperthreading CPU
NVIDIA PCI Express graphics
Intel 24-bit Dolby Digital audio
Multiformat DVD burner
Gigabit LAN
Dual NVIDIA NTSC tuners
ATI ATSC television tuner
To top it all off, the Denali still incorporates Niveus' Heat Pipe technology to passively cool internal components (meaning that there are no moving fans), making it the quietest Media Center PC on the market.
Available configurations:
Denali Edition ($3,999): P4 3.2 GHz HT, 1GB 400 MHz DDR SDRAM, 320GB HDD, DVD recorder, dual TV tuner, single HDTV, NVIDIA GF6600GT PCI Express, 24-bit/192 KHz high definition 8-channel audio, Windows XP MCE 2005 with HDTV
