A network media hub connects your home audio system to your personal computer, via your home's computer network.
You use the network media hub to play digital music stored on your personal computer, and hear it through the receiver and speakers in your home audio/home theater system.
Some network media hubs connect via wired Ethernet, others via wireless WiFi connections.
You control the network media hub with a wireless remote control; song and artist information is typically displayed on the hub's front panel display.
Some network media hubs also let use your television set to view photos and videos stored on your PC.
