Points To Keep in Mind

As with most magical servants, you have to keep field codes in line with a few mystical commands. Here are a few others to keep in mind:

  • Select any field and apply formatting as you would with any other chunk of text.

  • F9 updates a single field (or the entire document if you select all the text first).

  • Shift+F9 toggles between the field codes and field results on a single selected field.

  • Alt+F9 toggles between field codes and field results for all fields in a document.

That being said, I leave you in full command of these servants. You might not find them useful with the garage floor, but they are powerful recruits when it comes to getting work done in your documents.
