About the Series
This is the fourth article of a series, "Introduction to MDX." The primary focus of this series is the creation of basic MDX expressions and queries for use with multidimensional data sources. Each article in the series progressively adds more features, allowing you to apply the MDX language in a variety of scenarios designed to meet specific real-world needs.
The articles in the series are intended to serve as stand-alone lessons. Although each article builds on the concepts covered in the preceding articles, each lesson is based on objects and steps created within that lesson that are independent of the steps taken in previous lessons. For more information on the series, as well as the hardware and software requirements for the tutorials, see the first article in the series, "Basic Concepts and Navigation."
