Interactive Content
Adding interactive content to your Web site pages has never been easier than it is now with FrontPage 2002. Interactive content, such as weather forecasts and news headlines from MSNBC, Web searches and stock quotes from MSN, maps from Expedia, and several features from bCentral, can now be added to your Web pages by selecting the content you want to add right from the Web Components dialog box.
Add interactive content from the Web Components dialog box (see Figure 368).

Under Component, type on the left scroll down to see:
- bCentral Web Components
- Expedia Components
- MSN Components
- MSNBC Components
When you highlight the components in the left pane, the respective component features are listed in the right pane. You can highlight any of those features in the right pane to see a description of that component. When you select a component and click the Finish button, the Component Properties dialog box or configuration utility will open and give you step-by-step help screens to configure the component to suit your needs.
The bCentral components are membership based; however, when you opt to insert any of those components, you will be able to sign up for a membership from the step-by-step wizard within FrontPage.
See Figure 369 for an example of a page with interactive content from MSNBC inserted on it in the FrontPage 2002 Normal view.
