Real-World ExampleSynchronizing with Two PCs
If you use more than one PC regularly, such as a desktop PC and a notebook PC, you might benefit from synchronizing your Pocket PC with both machines. To do this, you must set up a partnership with your Pocket PC on both computers and be sure to synchronize the exact same types of data in both partnerships. For example, if you want only e-mail and contacts synchronized, select only Inbox and Contacts in the ActiveSync options for each partnership. Also, when you first set up the partnership with the second computer, you are given an option to declare that you're synchronizing the device with two computersbe sure you select this option.
