Summary
So far, we've looked at the availability and scalability of SQL Server 2000's list of features and improvements, which have allowed SQL Server to become a key player in enterprise-wide deployment and development. I'm fairly confident that the features covered so far are not surprising to you; after all, the RDBMS is almost two years old!
The next article completes our little tour of SQL Server 2000 and takes a look at the support for Structured Query Language (SQL), analytic services (OLAP), general enhancements, and of course the "not so good" things about SQL Server. Then it's on to a discussion of the features of Oracle 9i!
