Adding a Folder to a Toolbox
You can use the SMC Editor to add a folder to an existing toolbox.You can add a folder to the top node of the toolbox or to another folder.
If necessary, start the SMC Editor.
Refer to "Starting the SMC Toolbox Editor" on page 33 for instructions on how to start the SMC Editor.
From the Toolbox menu, choose Open.
The Open Toolbox window is displayed, as shown in Figure 31.

Double-click on the toolbox you want to edit.
The toolbox is opened in the SMC Toolbox Editor window.
In the Navigation pane of the SMC Toolbox Editor, click on the node in the toolbox to which you want to add the folder.
The node is highlighted.
From the Action menu, choose Add Folder.
The Name and Description step in the Folder Wizard is displayed, as shown in Figure 32.

Type the name and description of the folder and click on Next.
The Icons step is displayed, as shown in Figure 33.

To use the default icons, click on Next. To use custom icons, click on the Browse button and navigate to the location of the icons you want to use, then click on Next.
The Management Scope step is displayed, as shown in Figure 34.

Specify the management scope. The default is Inherit from Parent. If you want to override the default, click on the Override radio button and specify the management scope.
Click on the Finish button.
The wizard is closed and the folder is added to the hierarchy in the Navigation pane at the bottom of the node you selected.
If you want to move the folder up in the hierarchy, highlight the folder in the Navigation pane and, from the Action menu, choose Move Up as many times as needed to move the folder to its new position in the hierarchy.
From the Toolbox menu, choose Save As.
Navigate to the toolbox location in the hierarchy.
Toolboxes are located in the /var/sadm/smc/toolboxes directory.
Click on the toolbox and then click on Save.
The changes to the toolbox are saved and the wizard is closed.
