2. What Is Your Goal?
Now, write down what you want to accomplish this year if time and money were no objective. For some, it may be the Windows 2000 MCSE, for others it's the CCIE. If you need some guidance on which certifications are right for you, do some research. There are plenty of certification reviews here on InformIT.
3. How Will You Get There?
After you have your purpose for the goal and a clearly stated goal, it's time to map out the steps to get there. For example, to earn your MCSE, it's not one big exam: There are five core exams and two elective exams. List the exam numbers for the core and then select your two elective exams.
