How to Count EOs
An external output (EO) is an elementary process that sends data or control information outside the application boundary. Unlike an EQ, an EOs processing logic must contain mathematical formulas or calculations, create derived data, maintain an ILF during processing, or alter the behavior of the application; only one of these distinctions is necessary.
