Editors for Creating i-mode Content
HTML editors are roughly divided into two types WYSIWYG and non-WYSIWYG. (WYSIWYG stands for "What You See Is What You Get" and is pronounced "wizeewig.") There really is no such thing as an i-mode editor that will allow you to format a page designed for the small screen.
WYSIWYG Web page creation programs such as Adobe GoLive and Microsoft FrontPage are great for easily creating Web pages; however, they generate bloated code that results in unnecessarily large files. So, we'll take a look at simple text editors and HTML code editors that work better than WYSIWYG editors for developing i-mode pages.
