Infrastructure Technology Consulting
The Infrastructure Technology Consulting group should comprise 12 fulltime senior engineers, highly skilled. These individuals design and develop specialized tools and software to help build that "world-class" infrastructure: charge-back system, customized service tracking and tools to gauge customer satisfaction, etc. These specialized tools and software products typically are not available to purchase; they have to be designed, developed, tested, and deployed into production. For larger projects, this organization would grow by hiring independent consultants to assist in completing a project. The functions of the Infrastructure Technology Consulting group are as follows:
Responsible for designing and developing specialized software tools to automate the infrastructure.
Responsible for designing and developing infrastructure integration tools as required.
Responsible for designing and developing customized utilities to help manage the infrastructure.
Responsible for designing and developing specialized software for managing the infrastructure (charge back, customer satisfaction, and so on).
