Categorize Memos
By default, your memos are placed in the None category. However, you can create categories and then place one or more memos in each category so you can access memos more easily. Manage categories by tapping the menu icon at the left side of the menu bar. The categories list appears on the left side of the screen (see Figure 9) with the None category listed. Manage categories by tapping the Manage Categories button at the bottom of the list.
Figure 9 The menu icon has three parallel horizontal lines.
Add a category by tapping the Add button in the Manage Categories window menu bar, as shown in Figure 10. The Add Category window appears in the center of the screen.
Figure 10 The Manage Categories window appears in the upper-right corner of the screen, and the Add button appears at the right side of the window menu bar.
Type the category name and then tap the OK button in the window. Your category appears in the Manage Categories window list. Close the Manage Categories window by tapping the Back touch button.
Now you can move a memo to a category by tapping the Menu icon in the menu bar and then tap Select, as you learned to do earlier in this article. Select one of the memos and then tap the Move icon in the menu bar. The Move To window appears, as shown in Figure 11.
Figure 11 The Move icon is an arrow pointing right in the orange menu bar at the top of the screen.
Within the Move To window, tap the category name, which in this example is Second. You can also create a category by tapping Create Category in the window and then creating a category, as you learned to do earlier in this article.
After you tap the category name, the memo tile disappears from the None category that you're viewing in the app home screen. You can view categories by tapping the menu button at the left side of the menu bar. Open memos in the category by tapping the category name in the list. The category screen appears as shown in Figure 12, and the memo you placed in the category appears as a tile.
Figure 12 The Second category shows one memo within the category.
