Search, Select, and Delete
After you save a memo, you'll see the Search icon in the menu bar (refer to Figure 4). After you tap the Search icon, type the search term(s) in the Search box. If the term you're searching for is in the memo text within the tile, those characters appear highlighted in blue within the text (see Figure 7).
Figure 7 The characters "fin" (without the quotation marks) appear highlighted in blue within the memo tile.
If a memo tile doesn't include the search term(s), the memo tile won't appear on the screen. You can read the memo that contains your search term(s) by tapping on the memo. If you want to return to the app home page, tap the left arrow icon to the left of the Search box.
You can also select one or more memos to perform tasks by tapping the Menu icon in the menu bar, which is to the right of the New Memo icon you saw in Figure 2. After you tap the Menu icon, tap Select in the menu. The Select screen appears (see Figure 8), so you can select a memo by tapping the check box to the left of the memo title.
Figure 8 Select all memos by tapping the selected button at the left side of the menu bar where it says "1 selected" and then tap Select All in the menu.
After you select a memo, four icons appear at the right side of the menu bar so you can perform the following tasks (from left to right): share the memo, move the memo to another category, print the memo, or delete the memo. Note that if you select more than one memo, the Share icon isn't available. You can share only one selected memo at a time.
If you want to only delete one or more memos, tap the Menu icon in the menu bar and then tap Delete in the menu. In the memo list, tap the check box to the left of the memo titles for the memo(s) you want to delete and then tap Done in the menu bar.
You can return to the app home screen without taking any action by tapping the left arrow icon at the left side of the menu bar you saw in Figure 8.
