Schedule Sending a Message
When you write a message, you may not want to send it right away. For example, if you write a message at night, you may not want the recipient to receive the message until the next morning when the recipient will be at his computer. (Refer to Chapter 8 of My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 if you need a refresher about how to write a new email message.)
When you finish writing an email message in the New Email screen, tap the Menu icon at the right side of the blue menu bar that’s at the top of the screen. Then tap Schedule Sending, as shown in Figure 11.
Figure 11 The Menu icon appears at the right side of the blue menu bar.
In the Scheduling Options window that appears, as shown in Figure 12, tap the date button to change the date in the Set Date window. Then set the time by tapping the time button and then changing the time in the Set Time window. The Set Date and Set Time windows look and operate in the same way as you learned in Chapter 4 of My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
Figure 12 The Date button appears on the left and the Time button appears on the right; the buttons reflect the current date and time.
After you set the date and time, tap Done. When you tap the Send icon on the menu bar, the Email app Home screen appears, and you see a new Scheduled Outbox folder in the folders list. The Email app sends the message in this folder at your specified time. You can also view a list of scheduled messages to be sent by tapping the Scheduled Outbox folder on the list.
