Yahoo News Digest
The Yahoo News Digest keeps you abreast of the latest news by providing a morning and evening digest of summarized news stories. After you install and open the Yahoo News Digest app, you can view an introductory slideshow that tells you what the app is about. If you prefer to skip the introduction, tap Skip in the upper-right corner of the screen.
You can view the entire list of stories in your current digest by swiping up and down in the screen. Tap on a story headline to view the story in a separate screen. When you finish reading, tap the Back touch button. At the bottom of the story list, you can see how many stories you’ve read.
You can also read more news by tapping Read More News (see Figure 4).

If you want to know how long it will be until your next digest, swipe to the top of the story list, tap the Menu button in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then tap More Digests.
You’ll see the time remaining until you get your new digest in the center of the screen (see Figure 5). You can also view past digests in the digest timeline at the bottom of the screen by swiping from left to right.
