Keep the Tab 4 Awake During Charging

Keep the Tab 4 Awake During Charging

By default, the Tab 4 goes into sleep mode while it's charging. If you want to continue to use the Tab 4 while it's charging, you can tell the Tab 4 to enable developer mode and then change the Stay Awake setting in the Developer Options list.

Start by tapping the Apps icon on the Home screen and then tapping the Settings icon in the Apps screen. Within the Settings screen, tap General in the blue menu bar at the top of the screen. Next, swipe down the settings list on the left side of the screen and then tap About Device. Within the About Device settings list on the right side of the screen, tap Build Number seven times in succession. Once you complete your seventh tap, a pop-up message appears at the bottom of the screen that says "Developer mode has been enabled."

Within the settings list, now you see the Developer Options option above the About Device option. Tap Developer Options to see the Developer Options list on the right side of the screen (see Figure 8).

Tap the Stay Awake check box to always keep the Tab 4 awake while the device is charging. You can turn off this option at any time by opening the Developer Options list and tapping the Stay Awake check box again to clear it.

For orders and purchases placed through our online store on this site, we collect order details, name, institution name and address (if applicable), email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, credit/debit card information, shipping options and any instructions. Surveys

Contests and Drawings

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Other Collection and Use of Information


Application and System Logs

Pearson automatically collects log data to help ensure the delivery, availability and security of this site. Correcting/Updating Personal Information


If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your postal address or email address), we provide a way to correct or update that user's personal data provided to us. This can be done on the Account page. If a user no longer desires our service and desires to delete his or her account, please contact us at customer-service@informit.com and we will process the deletion of a user's account.

Choice/Opt-out
