Save Preferred Locations in My Places
If you don't want to enter your current location every time you use your Tab 4 GPS to go somewhere (such as when you use Google Maps), you can save your home, office, and/or car location on your Tab 4.
Start by tapping the Apps icon on the Home screen and then tapping the Settings icon in the Apps screen. Within the Settings screen, tap Location in the settings list on the left side of the screen. Within the Location list on the right side of the screen, tap My Places.
Within the My Places list shown in Figure 5, tap Home, Office, or Car to save that location on your Tab 4.

After you select a place, tap Select Method in the list to choose how you want your Tab 4 to find your current location. You can find your location through your Tab 4 Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection, or you can type the address on a map.
Note that if you want to add a place you frequently go to (such as school) to the list, tap the Add icon (it's a plus sign) in the blue menu bar at the top of the screen. Next, add your place name and then choose how you want the Tab 4 to find that location.
