Final Thought…
It’s important to keep your iPhone, iPad, and/or iPod touch up-to-date with the latest version of iOS in order to utilize all of the latest features and functions available using your mobile device. At the same time, it’s necessary to periodically update all of third-party apps that are installed on your device. To do this, launch the App Store app while your device is connected to the Internet. Next, tap on the Updates icon.
A listing of apps currently installed on your device with updates available will be displayed. Either tap on the Update button associated with each listing, or tap on the Update All option that’s displayed on the screen to download and install all available updates. From within Settings, it’s also possible to set up your device to download and install app updates automatically.
To do this, when running iOS 8.0 or later, launch Settings. tap on the iTunes & App Store option, and then from under the Automatic Downloads heading, turn on the virtual switch that’s associated with the Updates option.
