Explore Drive Chrome Extensions
If you use Google’s Chrome browser to access the Web, you should check out the free Drive extensions specifically for users of this browser. Here are three to try:
Save to Google Drive (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/save-to-google-drive/gmbmikajjgmnabiglmofipeabaddhgne) —Save a file (document, image, audio, or video) to Google Drive right from your browser (see Figure 7). This extension also enables you to capture and save screenshots to Google Drive.
- Fogpad (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fogpad/akpccnipkpejnigppmpalammcodfbonj)—Secure the Google Docs documents you store in Drive with advanced encryption.
- Save Text to Google Drive (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/save-text-to-google-drive/gkcckpoladnboalokmkldjabamjpkafo) —Save text from a Web page to Google Drive.
You can search the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/drive) for more apps and extensions that work with Google Drive, as shown in Figure 8.
