Conclusion
Pumatech's Satellite Forms is a powerful development tool designed for the leading handheld platform: the PalmOS. It supports quick-and-easy form building and event handling with a Visual Basiclike programming language and object model. Like Visual Basic, of course, one of the drawbacks of Satellite Forms is that with the ease of use comes a loss of flexibility and access to the full capabilities of the device (serial communications, low-level graphics programming, and so on). But for the majority of mobile computing tasks that revolve around entering/retrieving data to/from a form, Satellite Forms more than meets the needs of mobile application developers.
