Best for Small Networks
Connection sharing is an ideal solution for connecting to the Internet for small and possibly medium-sized businesses. Larger organizations, however, may prefer the use of Microsoft's proxy server and possibly the Windows 2000 routing and remote access services, which contain a complete robust implementation of network address translation. Depending on your company's Internet connectivity needs, you'll find that Windows 2000 offers the appropriate solution. Note that connection sharing works only for the smallest of networksstub networks of one subnet.
