Adding Default Lights
To add default lights to a scene:

Open the Viewport Configuration dialog box. (You can do this quickly by right-clicking any viewport control button and choosing Configure.)

In the Rendering Method panel, check Default Lighting and choose 2 Lights in the Rendering Options group (Figure 7).

Click OK to close the dialog box.

Choose Views > Add Default Lights to Scene.
The Add Default Lights to Scene dialog box appears (Figure 8).

Check the default lights you want to add. Changing Distance Scaling dollies the lights toward or away from the origin.

Click OK.
The default omni lights are added to the scene. They are named DefaultKeyLight and DefaultFillLight.
