Both methods are supported in all major browsers (including mobile browsers). In the browser, they both use JavaScript to initiate part of the authentication flow, and therefore will not work properly if users disable JavaScript. Old versions of Internet Explorer will have problems, as they don’t support the HTML5 features that both methods use.
When it comes to native mobile support, Google+ Sign-In has a clear advantage. There are sign-in flows for both Android and iOS.
