Training
Wherever possible, future users of e-business systems, just as for other systems, should be involved up front in the development process, through brainstorming sessions, JAD sessions, and prototype reviews.3 Training in how to use new business processes should be just as thorough for e-business systems as for more traditional systems, if the number and location of users makes that practical. The process may be quite difficult to learn even if it is delivered via a browser and intuitive interface.
Of course, it isn't always possible to train distant users in e-business systems; where it's impossible, help facilities, online manuals, and so on can be used to help users to self-train.
