Nfuse: Program Neighborhood for the Web
NFuse is the collective name for a number of components that work together to deliver Program Neighborhood application set support to users through a Web browser interface. Applications published within a Citrix server farm scope are available through NFuse, just as they would be through the regular Program Neighborhood application. Until the introduction of NFuse, Web-enabled applications were accessed only through statically created Web links. With NFuse, after a user is presented with an HTML logon page, the passed credentials are used to determine what application set access the user has. An HTML page is then generated with links to the individual applications within the set. Figure 1 shows both a sample logon page and the resulting application set page.
