Hiding Posts from Friends You Don’t Like
Over time, you will find that some of the people on your friends list, as well as some pages you subscribe to, serve up rather uninteresting posts. If you’d rather not read these posts, you can hide them from displaying in your news feed—without unfriending the person.
- Navigate to and mouse over a post from a friend you want to hide; this displays a down arrow to the right of the post.
- Click the down arrow to display a menu of options.
- Select Unsubscribe from Friend. (Replace Friend with your friend’s Facebook name.) This hides all future status updates from this person.
- You can also hide individual status updates from your news feed. Mouse over the update you want to hide to display the down arrow.
- Click the down arrow.
- Select Hide story.
