In our next column, we will look at WAP client devices and the Wireless Markup Language. Devices that use WAP to access Internet services include mobile phones, hand-held devices, and hybrids that combine features of both. In order to create WAP applications, we need to understand the XML-based Wireless Markup Language (WML). After a brief review of XML syntax, we will explore how WML can be used to build WAP applications. Please join us next time!
