Use NTBACKUP to Transport Encrypted Files
The NTBACKUP utility that comes with every Windows 2000 server and desktop is capable of backing up an encrypted file and then restoring it to a different computer. Because the new NTBACKUP in Windows 2000 permits backing up files to a file as well as tape, you can use it for a quick and simple vehicle to transport encrypted files to the recovery computer.
You will need Backup Operator privileges to run NTBACKUP.
