Adding New Dashboard Widgets
The first time you open Dashboard—which you may do by pressing the Dashboard key on your keyboard, by clicking the Dashboard icon in Mission Control, or by switching Spaces until you get to the Dashboard—you’ll see a default set of widgets. But the fun starts when you customize Dashboard by adding the widgets that are most useful to you.
- In Dashboard, click the + to open the widget organizer.
- In the organizer, click a widget’s icon to add it to your Dashboard.
- Back in Dashboard, move the widget to the position you want it to occupy.
