As with any app on the Xbox 360, XFINITY TV may become corrupt and fail to start, or simply become unresponsive. If restarting your console and then the app does not fix the issue, it needs to be deleted and reinstalled.
Follow these steps to delete the XFINITY TV app:
- Go to the Settings channel and select System.
- Select Storage.
- Select the storage device where the XFINITY TV app is stored, or simply All Devices.
- Select Games and Apps.
- Find and select all items that refer to XFINITY. Press Y; then select Delete.
Once deleted, you can follow the steps under Getting Started to download the app again and log back in.
Summary
For Comcast subscribers and Xbox 360 owners, XFINITY TV is a can't-miss app. Whether providing On Demand access to a television without a cable box or simply supplementing an existing setup with the Xbox 360's superior visual interface, XFINITY TV is a prime example of why Microsoft's console remains so popular after all these years.
