Separately Turn On iCloud Functionality for the iWork Apps
If you’ll be using the optional Pages, Numbers, and/or Keynote apps on your tablet, to sync these app-specific documents and files, you’ll need to initially turn on the Documents & Data option found on the main iCloud screen within Settings, and then turn on iCloud functionality for each specific app separately.
To do this, from the main Settings menu (on the left side of the tablet’s screen), tap on the Pages, Numbers and/or Keynote option, one at a time. Depending on how many apps you have installed on your iPad, you may need to scroll down a bit under the Apps heading to find them. When you tap on the Pages option, for example, turn on the Use iCloud feature that’s displayed under the Pages heading on the right side of the screen. Then repeat this process for Numbers and Keynote.
Next, turn on iCloud functionality for Pages, Numbers, and/or Keynote on your other iOS devices and on your Mac (if you’re running the Mac versions of these popular apps). All files and documents related to those apps will now automatically remain synced with iCloud.
