Listening to Local Files on Your Mobile Device
You can also listen to those local files stored on your PC from any compatible mobile device connected to Spotify, such as an iPhone or Android phone. The only requirement is that both your PC and your mobile device have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
To listen to local files on your mobile device, you first have to create a playlist on your computer that contains the local music you want to listen to. You can then connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network that your computer is connected to and launch the Spotify app on your mobile device.
Once Spotify is running on your mobile device, mark the newly created playlist as an Offline Playlist. The playlist you selected will now be available for playback on your mobile deviceand the local music files copied from your computer to the device.
