Improve the Audio You Hear from Your iPhone
With your iPhone, you can listen to a wide range of audio content, including your favorite music, audiobooks, or audio that accompanies TV show episodes and movies you watch on your smartphone.
To dramatically enhance all audio that's played by your iPhone, SRS Labs has introduced the SRS iWow 3D audio enhancer accessory that clips onto the bottom of the Smartphone. It is compatible with any headphones or external speakers used in conjunction with the iPhone or other iOS device.
The iWow 3D is a small plug-and-play device that dramatically enhances the quality, clarity, and definition of the music and audio played by an iPhone. The patented device comes with an app that allows users to customize their audio settings; it also includes several changeable colored faceplates.
Another device that enhances the quality and volume of the iPhone's audio is the WaveCradle, a relatively small, contemporary-looking desktop stand made from aircraft-grade aluminum. Its shape is designed to increase the volume of audio from the iPhone's built-in speakers by up to eight decibels. The WaveCradle comes in a variety of colors.
For professional and amateur musicians, two companies showcased iPhone and iPad stands and accessories:
- Castiv offers microphone and music stands that are specially designed to hold the iPhone.
- IK Multimedia presented a collection of iPhone accessories for guitar, bass, and keyboard players; singers; podcasters; songwriters; and DJs. This talented group uses the iPhone as a tool for playing, composing, recording, and/or performing music and audio. Among IK Multimedia's offerings are high-quality microphones that attach to the iPhone, transforming the device (in conjunction with specialized apps VocaLive or iRig Recorder) into a multi-track recording system for vocals or music.
