Educational iPad Content Is Also Available From iTunes
The iTunes app on your iPad is used to acquire music, TV show episodes, and movies that can be experienced on your tablet using the preinstalled Music or Videos apps. Once you launch the iTunes app, tap the Music, Movies or TV Shows command icon that's displayed near the bottom of the tablet's screen to determine the type of content you're looking for.
Then in the upper-left corner of the screen, tap the Genres icon. When browsing for music, select the Children's Music genre. When browsing for movies, tap the Kids & Family genre, and while searching for appropriate TV shows for your kids, tap the Kids and/or Animation genre.
By loading your iPad with age-appropriate music, TV shows or movies, you can keep your child entertained at home, in the car, or on airplane trips. You'll quickly discover that all the popular kid-oriented TV shows and movies, including those from Disney and Nickelodeon, for example, are available for purchase and download from iTunes. This includes some educational programming, as well as plenty of content designed for entertainment.
Whether your young child enjoys Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, or popular Disney or Nickelodeon programming, you'll find it available from iTunes. Of course, you'll also find TV shows and movies suitable for older kids and tweens.
As with any type of video entertainment, pay attention to descriptions and ratings to determine appropriateness for your child. This information is clearly displayed within iTunes.
