Deleting Events from Your Timeline
What do you do if you add an event to your timeline that you later decide you don’t want to publicize so much? Simpledelete it.
To delete any event (or even a status update) from your timeline, hover over the event to display the two buttons in the top-right corner, then click the Edit or Remove (pencil) button and select Delete Life Event (see Figure 8).

If you don’t see the Delete Life Event option, that means you can’t delete the eventat least not from the Timeline. This is typical of events added through your Facebook profile. For this type of event, you need to return to the top of your Profile page and click the Update Info button. This displays your profile information page; find the item you wish to edit and click the X to the far right of the item (see Figure 9). This will remove the item from your profile and from your Timeline.
