Changing Your Channel's Information and Settings
When you select the Info and Settings tab, you can customize some of the information displayed in the right-hand sidebar.
In particular, you can edit the following:
- Title: The title shown on your channel page.
- Description: A brief text description of your channel or your business. You can (and should) include your web page's URL in this summary.
- Tags: Keywords that viewers will use to search for your channel page.

Also important is the ability to choose which tab viewers see first. You can make any tab the featured tab for your channel; just pull down the Default Tab list and make a selection. You can also opt to always show the Feed tab first to subscribers to your channel.
You can also choose to hide your channel page, if you so wish. This is typically not a preferred option for businesses.
