Get Me Outta Here!

You've looked at KDE2 and you think it's nice. You look forward to its release, but you're accustomed to KDE-1.x, where everything works. Fair enough. Here's all you need to do to restore everything. As root, enter these lines: 

rm /opt/kde
ln -s /opt/kde112 /opt/kde
rm /usr/lib/qt
ln -s /usr/qt144 /usr/lib/qt

If you use a different window manager and desktop, simply delete your /home/.xinitrc or /home/.xsession and restore the one you backed up before you made the change.
