Playing Videos (Galaxy Tab 7″)
The 7-inch high-resolution screen of your Galaxy Tab provides a great outlet for viewing your favorite videos. The Video shortcut on your Galaxy Tab was designed to make it easy for you to browse and play your downloaded and recorded videos.
- From a home screen, tap Applications.
- Tap Video to access your video libraries.
- Videos are arranged in categories, including downloaded videos, recorded videos, and videos you may have grouped into folders or imported from an external device. Tap a category to view a list of videos.
- Tap a video within the list to begin playback.
- After the video has started, tap in the middle of the screen to bring up the playback controls.
- Tap the screen brightness control to adjust the brightness level. The Auto Brightness check box appears. To manually adjust the brightness of the screen, you must first deselect Automatic Brightness, which causes a slider to appear, enabling you to adjust brightness manually.
- Slide your finger on the Volume/Channels slider to adjust the volume of the video.
- Tap the Screen View icon to adjust scale of the video within the viewer.
- Drag your finger across the Movie Timeline to shuttle through the video or to jump to a new location. You can also tap the timeline in a new location to jump to that location.
- The Play button, located in the Playback controls, turns into a Pause button as the video plays. Tap the Pause button to pause the video.
- Tap the Forward or Rewind buttons to move forward or backward through the video.
- Tap the Bookmarks icon to mark points within the video that you can revisit at a later time.
