Adding a Podcast App (Galaxy Tab 7″)
DoggCatcher is a highly rated podcast manager available in the Android Market (currently $2.99 USD) that can help you grow your podcast library.
- After you have installed the DoggCatcher app on your Tab, tap the DoggCatcher shortcut. A list of feeds appears in which you can flick the page up or down to view the complete list.
- Press the Menu button on the Galaxy Tab.
- Tap Add Feed in the menu to search for a new feed. A list of recommended sources appears.
- Tap a source to view the feed offerings. A list of feeds appears along with brief descriptions for each feed.
- The icons located to the far right of each selection indicate whether the feed is audio, text, or video. Tap Preview Feed to review a selection before adding it to your list.
- Tap Add Feed to acquire that selection for your collection.
- Press the Back button on the Galaxy Tab.
- If you don’t see a featured feed that you like, you can perform a search. Tap Search Feeds.
- Tap in the Search field to access the keyboard and enter your search keywords.
- Tap Search. A list of search results displays.
- Use the Back button on the Galaxy Tab to go back to your main list of Feeds.
- Press the Menu button on the Tab.
- Tap Update Feeds to manually update each feed in the list.
- Tap Download Queue to view the progress of each of your downloads as they occur.
- Tap Media Buttons to change the size of interface buttons.
- Tap Add Feed to choose from a list of featured feeds or perform a search for a new feed.
- Tap Preferences to configure DoggCatcher settings, including feed updates, media player settings, notifications, and advanced settings.
- Tap More for further DoggCatcher support.
