Your Galaxy Tab is a digital media player packed with entertainment possibilities as well as a camcorder capable of recording 720×480 video. You can play music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, audiobooks, and videos; read eBooks; view photos; and access YouTube. Depending on your cellular carrier, each Tab has extended services for purchasing and downloading media.
Creating a Media Hub Account (Galaxy Tab 7″)
The Samsung Media Hub widget preinstalled on your Galaxy Tab is your portal to hundreds of movies and TV content available for you to rent or purchase. You need to create a Media Hub account before you can begin to purchase your favorite movies and TV shows.
- Depending on which cellular carrier or Galaxy Tab model you have, you’ll find the Media Hub icon on a home screen or under Applications. Tap the Media Hub shortcut. You can read the end user license agreement and then tap Accept. The Media Hub interface opens.
- Press the Menu button.
- Tap My Account to create a Media Hub account.
- Tap Create Account.
- Type your email address for this account into the Email field.
- Tap Next on the keyboard to progress to the next field, and do so to complete the remaining fields.
- Tap the I Agree to the Terms and Conditions check box to select it.
- You can tap the second check box if you would like to receive email updates from Samsung.
- Tap Create Account.
