Moving Through Running Apps
Another interesting new feature in Windows 8 makes it easy for you to use touch to cycle through the applications you're currently running. You can still use Alt-Tab to display thumbnails of open apps and move to the one you want to use, or you can simply flick in from the left, pulling the next open app onto the screen (see Figure 2). You can use this same technique with your mouse, moving the mouse to the left side of the screen and then pressing and holding down the mouse button while dragging to the right. The next app appears and then opens across the screen area.
Figure 2 You can simply drag the next app in from the left and display it on your screen.
